As president of NCL, Rob has been active at the senior level of the real estate industry for over three decades. He headed the real estate investment division and sat on the executive management committee for Richmond Savings between 1975 and 1994. Rob served as the Councilor for the City of Richmond from 2001 to 2008 and the MLA for Richmond Centre from 2009 to 2013.
With a background in both Landscape and Interior Design Trudy plays a key role in leading the vision and design team for all projects. She has been part of the business for over twenty years.
Rob and Trudy have previously developed and managed two retirement home projects, both from concept to operations, and currently have three retirement home projects under various stages of development in the Lower Mainland. They took a brief hiatus from the business when Rob served as the MLA for Richmond Centre.
Serving as NCL's Vice President Operations, Walter has many years' experience in retirement community management, his most recent assignment was the opening and lease-up, as General Manager, of Legacy Senior Living, Vancouver's premier retirement community.
Walter has managed many significant properties over the past decade, and has held direct operational responsibility for several trophy properties including Legacy Senior Living, Maple Ridge Seniors Village – Campus of Care, Amica at Rideau Manor (Vancouver), Pacifica Resort Living (South Surrey), and Crofton Manor (Vancouver). Walter served a Associate Vice President of Operations for Chartwell Retirement Residences for 3 years where he was responsible for properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
He has also previously been responsible for many senior's home 'start-ups'. Walter brings vast managerial experience to the team and has a successful and demonstrated ability in leadership, sales, marketing and financial planning. He also brings with him a strong knowledge of all legislation affecting the ownership and operation of a Senior's Home project.
He has a wealth of experience in project and program management, having spent 14 years at the City of Richmond in various roles including Community Facilities Coordinator.
Jay has 'hands-on' knowledge of building systems and project management experience, and experience developing programs for all age groups. Jay's extensive involvement in, and understanding of the community, will ensure our residents have many health, wellness, social and educational choices in our retirement communities. As well, he will help to ensure our residents feel very much a part of the broader community when they choose the NCL 'Club' lifestyle.
